 FGN2
Fifty trainees who recently benefitted from the Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P) Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS) in Enugu State, have commended the Federal Government for initiating the project, saying the exercise has made their lives better.
The training exercise, which was conducted by the Abuja Graduate School is intended to prepare the GIS participants for post-internship expectations and to ascertain the impact of the internship experience on the trainees.
“The three-day training on job search, career development and entrepreneurial skills development was remarkable and the impact of the GIS ‎on participants was evidenced from the resounding testimonials given by the participants.
“The quality of this training can compete with what is obtainable in the West and I do hope every Nigerian youth can be made to pass through such training to prepare them for what lies ahead of the beneficiaries,” Imo Paulinus Udo told Our source.
